In this journal of sort —an intimate jotting-down of time and place— Maia Gambis explores her move from Europe to Latin America and the ever-changing quality of the human condition. These photographic essays take us from the formal aspect of  photography to the more intimate language of self-expression. Through her preferred palette of blues and blacks, we discover an endless range of possibilities: from very distinct tones to subtle differences, depending on ligh and shadow.
